Auditions for Dr. Horrible

Open casting call for youth actors, age 12 – 18 years. September 8th 7:30 – 8:30 at Upstart Crow Studios, 855 W. 1st Ave., Eugene.

Rehearsals begin Sept. 12th and continue on Mondays and Thursdays 7;00 – 8:30

A mad musical spoof on superheroes and supervillians, this comedy is first up on our theatre season line-up. Written by the Whedon brothers of Firefly, Serenity and Dollhouse fame, this musical originally starred Neil Patrick Harris as Dr. Horrible and made its debut on the internet during the Writers strike in 2008. It was a cult phenomenon with millions of viewers, winning numerous awards and rave reviews. Set in Los Angeles, the show tells the story of Dr Horrible, an aspiring supervillian; Captain Hammer his nemesis; and Penny, their mutual love interest.
