Free Ads for Life Drawing Legal Stuff

The rules are simple. By entering this drawing, you are hereby agreeing:

1. You are at least 18 years old and the legal owner or manager of a registered business in Lane County, Oregon. (We will check first with the Secretary of State if there are any doubts.)

2. You are allowed up to 10 entries per business.

3. For your name, business name, image, logo and/or photo to be included in our broadcast media promotions of the drawing event.

4. For your name, business name, image, logo and/or photo to be used in other promotional media concerning the drawing.

5. You understand that odds of winning are completely in proportion to the number of entries received, and that in the event you are chosen as the winner and you can not be contacted after reasonable efforts are made to do so, that your prize will be awarded to the next winning entrant.

6. You understand that entering this drawing grants you a 25% discount on any advertising with Discover Eugene for the period of one fiscal year, ending June 30, 2011, and that if you are chosen by an independent third party as either the Grand Prize or Runner Up winner, that you will work with the publication to meet ad deadlines and hold the publication faultless should you fail to do so at any time throughout the life of the prize.

7. You understand that all awards and prizes are non-transferrable to another person or entity except in the event of the sale of the winning business to another person or entity, and agree that in that event you will equip the new owner with a copy of this statement and a copy of any winning advertising agreement.

8. You agree to indemnify and hold Discover Eugene, its agents and affiliates, faultless and harmless in the event of any negative consequences, injuries or losses suffered by you, your business, any employee(s) (paid or not) or any patrons of your business that may arise directly or indirectly, from the actions of any other participants or observers of this drawing, or other persons, or occurrences commonly referred to as ‘acts of God/Nature’ that may or may not be linked to participating in this drawing.  (No, we don’t expect any problems, but psychos and lightning do exist… and we can’t honestly be blamed for either one.)

9. You agree to congratulate yourself for helping make this event successful!
