Rosetta Park

Rosetta Park

Rosetta Park in the Santa Clara community of Eugene

Occupying about a square block in the densely populated residential zone between River Road and Northwest Expressway, Rosetta Park is a charming and newly developed neighborhood perk. A pair of picnic benches occupies the sidewalk and permits a supervisory view of the playground. The play area is modestly sized and features swings, a slide, teeter-totter, bicycle parking and a water fountain. Narrow sidewalks traverse the perfectly mowed and watered lawns, and recently planted trees are still taking root alongside the pathways.

To get here, go west on Rosetta Avenue off of River Road until it ends at Evergreen. Take a left and the park is immediately on the right. If you are driving to find an exciting park for the kids, pass this one up and head somewhere more notable, like Emerald Park, which is only a hop and a skip to the north. Rosetta Park is clearly enjoyed by those living in the immediate vicinity because of its proximity to home. Visitors are welcome daily from 6am – 11pm.
